Earth Observation Management Consultant

We are seeking a Management Consultant with a strong interest in Earth Observation (EO) and geospatial data applications to join our growing team. You will support projects that leverage space-based data to address real-world challenges in emergency management, environmental protection, security, and defence. 

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop as a management consultant within the space sector, working on strategic, analytical, and communication-focused tasks which help public sector and industry clients turn market insights into actionable decisions. 

Responsibilities:

  • Development of use cases highlighting the value of EO, and geospatial data in domains such as disaster risk reduction & emergency response, security and defence, sustainability and climate action.
  • Analyse EU environmental legislation and policies to extract relevant inputs for technical studies. 
  • Manage programs and projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client objectives. 
  • Design and deliver reports or presentations for client audiences. 
  • Communication planning, including strategies which support user uptake and awareness of EO-based tools. 
  • Coordinate community engagement activities such as stakeholder workshops, user networks, and outreach initiatives. 
  • Develop user requirement analyses. 
  • Support the growth of our company by identifying new opportunities and contributing to business development efforts and proposal writing. 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree related to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), or Business Degree (if the candidate has prior experience in the Earth Observation sector). 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in management consulting, preferably within the space, aerospace, or high-tech sectors. 
  • Familiarity with consulting skill sets: problem-solving, outstanding writing and presentation skills. 
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Good and documented interpersonal and communication skills in English; proficiency in other European languages (especially Italian or Spanish) is a plus. 
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite 
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe for short on-site missions.
